Poetry for Palestine
fundraiser, with Iftar
Poetry for Palestine is not just an event—it is a space for healing, solidarity, and resistance.
On March 7th at MOIRA, we come together to honor the voices that fight for Palestinian
freedom, to stay creative, and to remind ourselves that we are not alone in this struggle for
justice.
As Albanese said in Utrecht just 24 hours ago, the only way to combat powerlessness is
through the collective. In times of despair, we rebuild our communities.
Come.
We leave no one behind. We are not afraid to blend cultures, to learn from Palestinian
wisdom, to sit with discomfort and necessary dialogue. We are not afraid to fail, to listen, to
grow.
Poetry for Palestine begins at 18:00, just before Iftar. We hope to break fast together at
18:31, sharing a meal in the spirit of community and solidarity.
From 20:00 onwards, we will come together to share stories—especially those of Palestinian
heritage, culture, and resistance—amplifying voices that must be heard and histories that
must be told.
Tickets: Minimum donation €10. If you cannot pay, come anyway—we will make it work.
Please register in advance so we can plan accordingly.
All proceeds go directly to PalMed Academy, an organization dedicated to educating
Palestinian medical, nursing, dental, and psychology students from Gaza. They need our
support. They need us to listen.
See you on March 7th.
Performer list coming soon.
