Moira Film Club

We’re very excited to announce The Pictures Film Club — a monthly film screening held on the last Thursday of every month in the Moira Zaal.

Expect films that invoke all the feels. We’re here for cinema with substance — something you can really chew on. Think epic period pieces, screwball comedies, psychological thrillers, lush Technicolor palettes, thrashy practical effects, indie darlings, panoramic spectacles, and raw DIY aesthetics.

We won’t reveal the title in advance — only hints. Trust us.

For the first edition we will be showing a fun cult classic. If you’re not a horror fan, don’t be put off! This film has been described as whimsical, surreal, bizarre and even comedic at times.
