Description
Come chill and watch a movie with us

Organisation
We are a new BIPoC collective in Utrecht that aims to provide a safer space for people who identify as BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Together we hope to create a space where we can empower each other and heal collectively.

We see the value and importance of sharing our personal struggles with each other and organizing together because we live in a hegemonic white society. By giving and reclaiming space, we can tell our own stories that can foster feelings of empowerment and autonomy. Ultimately, this can motivate us to take action and resist systems of oppression and ultimately point the way to liberation, as Audre Lorde said: “Without community, there is no liberation.”

We want to create a community where people of all ages are welcome and support our vision that is firmly feminist, anti-racist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, anti-ableist and against all other forms of oppression.
