Metis Method

The Metis Method workshop is led by two people: Francesca and Mariagiulia.

The group of participants in the workshop is made up of a maximum of 15 people.

The workshop sessions last three hours each, there is one session a day for two consecutive days.

The workshop is aimed at women and non-binary people.

The workshop includes, in the first part, a body warm-up, in which we are all together.

In the second part of the workshop, exercises are done to warm up the movement and the voice.

After the workshop, there is a moment of exchange with post-it notes and sheets of paper to talk together about the project.

The project starts with questions about the urban space and how it feels to cross it.

Whoever wants can bring their experience in the form of an anonymous interview.

The interviews are made up of 5 questions.

These questions and the answers are included in the final performance as an audio track.

The workshop is an open and free space for discussion and dialogue. All the participants are invited to be respectful with others.

During the workshop you can move your body, talk, or just listen.

You can speak in your language: there is an interpreter.

A “protected corner” is set up in the workshop space. Here you will find water and soft seats for a moment of tranquility.
